SlipDrift

authors

Zachary, Marcus, Cephas, Gavin

SlipDrift is a rhythm-infused bullet-hell set aboard a derelict space station. Inspired by titles such as Enter The Gungeon, Hades, Cult of the Lamb, and Everhood, the game introduces a fresh twist to the bullet-hell genre: enemy attacks, player actions, and the environment are tied to musical rhythm. Mastering the rhythm amplifies your power—dealing bonus damage, piercing through foes, and creating satisfying audiovisual feedback—yet staying perfectly on-beat is never mandatory.

Players can still survive through reflex and strategy alone, while rhythm-savvy players unlock a deeper, more rewarding flow.
